Oh, hello there. You may have noticed that there was no new post last week. Or the week before. Well that’s because
I’m disorganized sometimes I’ve been a busy bee prepping for Pour on the Promenade, a beer and wine-themed art fair held THIS FRIDAY in Elgin, IL. I’ll be there as one of 20 featured artists, selling all the beer- and cider-themed art prints you can find in my online store, plus a surprise or two. Here are the deets:
Pour on the Promenade
0-99 Riverside Drive, Elgin, IL 60120
Friday, September 30th from 5-9pm

Full disclosure, I will not be selling hop candles. If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram you’ve seen my many attempts at infusing candle wax with the intoxicating scent of hops, only to be disappointed (and even disgusted) by the results. This does not mean that I’ve given up on the project – just that I’ve put it on pause for now.
I am proud to say that I successfully built and painted a wooden Worth 1000 Beers sign for my vendor booth (pictured above) from reclaimed wood. (“Reclaimed” in this case means I saw it lying on my neighbor’s curb marked as trash … and then I waited until it was dark, drove over and took it! Score! Yep, I am THAT weird neighbor. :D). Anyway, making this sign gave me an idea for future products to add to my online store. Stay tuned!
Here are just some of the things you can expect to see for sale in my booth on Friday:
5″ x 7″ You Make Me So Hoppy print, $10
6.75″ x 12″ 2017 Beer Calendar, $20
8″ x 10″ American IPA print, $30
8″ x 10″ Schlafly Pumpkin Ale print, $30
Thanks for reading and if you’re local, I hope to see you there in a couple of days! Cheers!
