Beer Tasting: Peach Berliner Weisse from Perennial Artisan Ales

I think it’s safe to say that I’m mildly obsessed with Perennial Artisan Ales. I’d rate myself about an 8 on a scale from one to ten, one being not-at-all-interested and ten being full-on-cray-cray-for-their-beer. Until I have visited their St. Louis tasting room AND stood in line for a bottle release, I can’t truly deem myself “level 10” obsessed, at least in my mind. Admittedly, it’s just a matter of time until that happens, but today I’m an 8.

I rate myself an 8 because my first blog post was in fact a visual love poem written for my beautiful Abraxas (yikes…that might actually be level 10 territory).

All jokes aside, I adore their label art and their beers are truly “artisanal” and delicious. I really do look forward to the day when I can finally visit their brewery location and enjoy some of their creations right from the source.

In a truly fitting farewell to summer, Matt and I enjoyed Perennial’s Peach Berliner Weiss two weeks ago, right on the precipice of fall. A hazy yellow to orange creamsicle hue, it was refreshing, effervescent, and made me wish that warm weather would wait around for just a few more weeks. Cheers!
